My name is Tewodros Seid Brownlee, but everyone calls me Ted.

I am a writer, producer and director based in Melbourne, Australia. 

Since I was young, I've loved films, and that passion has only grown as I've gained experience and knowledge in the field. 

After completing film school, I have been actively involved in various media projects and film production companies in Australia and abroad. I have worked with industry professionals on large-scale productions and also collaborated on small projects, continuously seeking to take on new challenges.

My goal with Pensive is to work with a talented team to create meaningful art that reflects on social, political, and ethical issues and engages our society. 

My upbringing, moving from Ethiopia to Australia, has given me a deep understanding of different lifestyles and perspectives. This duality of cultures fuels my passion for storytelling.

Each person has their own story waiting to be told, and by exploring them, we can unleash a wealth of narrative potential. 

I am driven by a fervent commitment to bring these stories to the screen and leave a lasting impact on audiences worldwide.
