The work

This film will provide insight into five different understandings of the importance of conserving the Central Highlands of Victoria and Yarra Ranges.

Visual editing, cinematic compositions, thought-provoking and insightful interview voiceovers and a mix of a natural and expressionistic score will allow us to respectfully present an insight into each individual's perspective and associated emotion.

Although the topics and emotions we hope to delve into and evoke ( such as nostalgia, curiosity, spiritual connection, anxiety and conviction) are all qualities that can and have been expressed through the medium of literature.

However, in the current technological climate, conveying the topic through the cinematic lens will hopefully allow us to provide a more potent and digestible avenue to reach the intended audiences.
